Aircraft Avionics Technician

Job Description:

We're looking for an energetic team member to join us as an Aircraft Avionics Technician situated. You will be responsible for performing necessary maintenance tasks on a diverse range of aircraft systems, including mechanical, structural, power plant, interior, and avionics components. Your job will involve detailed disassembly, cleaning, and inspection, with meticulous record keeping to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). Gain firsthand exposure to some of the industry's leading airplane models and be a part of maintaining our track record of excellence. At times, you may have to work overtime to meet the demands of service requirements.

Required Skills:

• A&P Certification
• Aircraft Mechanic Experience
• The FARs and AMRs exist to regulate the maintenance and operation of aircraft, encompassing everything from design and construction to maintenance and repair
• A Comprehensive Guide to Technical Writing and Documentation

Job Type:

The Contract-to-Hire opportunity for this position lasts for 6 months.

Work Environment:

work in a properly maintained hanger environment. The 1st shift runs from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, and the 2nd shift runs from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with a $2 shift differential for those applying for the 2nd shift. Remuneration for the position ranges between $25-$40 per hour, with per diem allowances offered to non-locals.
