Job Title: Area Manager

Position Summary

The Area Manager is responsible for driving sales, controlling expenses, and leading all operational aspects across a designated district of 5–7 stores. This role ensures excellence in customer experience, talent development, financial performance, and operational execution. Frequent travel, including weekends and overnights, is required.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience – 30%

• Champion exceptional customer service to maximize sales and loyalty.

• Guide stores in delivering consistent, high-quality experiences.

• Monitor market trends and competitive strategies, sharing insights with leadership.

Talent Management – 30%

• Evaluate Store Manager performance to identify development opportunities.

• Mentor managers on team engagement, coaching, and individual development plans (IDPs).

• Support recruitment and training programs to build customer-centric teams.

Financial Management – 20%

• Monitor controllable expenses to maintain operational efficiency.

• Support efforts to reduce shrink and improve profitability.

• Analyze financial reports and ensure timely submission of required documentation.

Operational Management – 20%

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure alignment with company policies.

• Partner with Store Managers to improve customer satisfaction, merchandising, and efficiency.

• Ensure all stores follow consistent operational standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

• 1+ years’ experience in retail management, business, or merchandising.

• Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory control, and visual merchandising.

• Proficient in recruiting, onboarding, and talent development practices.

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight and weekend commitments.

• Must be open to relocation if required.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
