Avionics Technician

Job Description:

We are welcoming applications for an Avionics Technician position. The job responsibilities include critical maintenance on various aircraft systems such as mechanical, structural, power plant, interior, and avionics components. The position also requires meticulous disassembly, cleaning, and inspection, with an unwavering commitment to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) through detailed documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on leading airplane models and contribute to our reputation for excellence. There may be occasional overtime necessary to meet service delivery requirements.

Required Skills:

• A&P Certification
• Aircraft Mechanic Experience
• Proper training and documentation are critical components of adhering to the FARs and AMRs, as they require aviation professionals to maintain detailed records and constantly monitor and update maintenance procedures
• Developing Your Technical Writing and Literature Skills for Optimum Productivity

Job Type:

The Contract-to-Hire opportunity for this position lasts for 6 months.

Work Environment:

where you will be working in a well-maintained hanger. The role offers flexible timings with openings available for 1st shift - 7:30 AM to 4 PM and 2nd shift - 2 PM to 10:30 PM. A $2 shift differential is available for those applying for the latter. Compensation for the position is between $25 to $40 hourly, with non-local candidates receiving per diem.
