Job Summary of Backup Teacher:

Deliver academic lessons and preserve a productive learning climate by adhering to existing classroom procedures and school mandates in the absence of the primary teacher. This position provides a platform to acquire teaching experience and aid in student development.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Backup Teacher:

• Implement and deliver lesson plans based on the guidelines provided by the absent teacher.
• Create a safe and structured classroom environment.
• Guide students in comprehending the content of their studies and finishing their assignments on time.
• Notify the school administration immediately if a student sustains an injury, falls ill, or engages in serious misconduct.
• Take on extra responsibilities as delegated by school authorities.

Qualifications and Experience of Backup Teacher:

• Meeting the non-certified criteria involves holding at least 30 college credits and a valid New Jersey Substitute Certification.
• The position requires individuals to possess a valid certification from New Jersey for Continuing Education (CE), Certified Educational Administration and Supervision (CEAS), or Standard Teacher Certification.
• Proficiency in English across its multiple dimensions, including spoken language, textual interpretation, and written expression.
