Job Title: Bookkeeper

Schedule: Part-Time (Flexible, approximately 10–20 hours/week)

Job Summary

The Part-Time Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial tasks including transaction recording, reporting, reconciliation, and compliance. This role is essential to ensuring the financial integrity and health of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions including A/P, A/R, and payroll

• Perform monthly bank account reconciliations

• Prepare financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)

• Assist with budget preparation and monitor spending

• Manage payroll entry in coordination with HR

• Ensure tax compliance and support documentation for filings

• Monitor expenses and ensure spending stays within budget

• Maintain accounting systems; proficiency in QuickBooks required

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role

• Solid understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles

• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
