Boot Camp Instructor

Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time

Reports To: Fitness Manager or Group Fitness Coordinator

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate + class bonuses (if applicable)

Position Summary

The Boot Camp Instructor is responsible for leading high-energy, results-driven group training sessions designed to improve participants' strength, endurance, and overall fitness. This role is ideal for a dynamic and motivational individual who can create a fun, challenging, and inclusive workout environment for all fitness levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead safe, effective, and engaging boot camp-style fitness classes

• Create and modify workouts to accommodate various fitness levels and goals

• Set up and break down equipment before and after each class

• Provide personalized instruction and motivation to class participants

• Maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere during sessions

• Ensure proper form and technique to reduce risk of injury

• Promote gym programs, services, and upcoming events to members

• Maintain class attendance records and report feedback to management

• Encourage a supportive community and build strong member relationships

Qualifications

• Current Group Fitness or Personal Training Certification (ACE, NASM, ISSA, AFAA, etc.)

• CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)

• Previous group fitness or boot camp instruction experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of fitness training principles and functional movement

• Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills

• Ability to lead both indoor and outdoor sessions (if applicable)
