Job Summary of Building Services Technician:

Responsibilities of Building Services Technician:

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Qualifications of Building Services Technician:

• Familiarity with electrical systems, air conditioning units, heating and cooling systems, plumbing mechanisms, or landscaping practices is beneficial
• Valid driverus license
• Obtaining D.O.T certification, potentially enabled by U-Haul sponsorship, is a key step for those in the commercial driving sector
