Carpenter Helper

Job Description:

Working as a Carpenter Helper comes with a range of exciting duties that test your abilities on a daily basis. You'll be required to handle work orders, manage projects, and provide excellent customer service to commercial and industrial clients. This role's responsibilities may include door installation, hardware and concrete work, demolition, even working on new construction and renovation projects. You will be traveling to project locations on a daily basis, and the distance can vary within a one to one and a half-hour radius of the office. You must exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills, independence and have a strong focus on customer service to be successful in this role. Your hourly pay will be within a competitive rate from $25-$28 per hour and may be eligible for mileage reimbursement based on the job site.

Hard Skills:

• Metal stud framing is a lighter option than steel, making it more suitable for certain building projects
• Acoustical tiles have become a popular choice for those seeking noise reduction in their homes or offices

• Light concrete can also be an effective insulator, making it particularly useful in projects where energy efficiency is a priority

• Knowing one's way around a set of tools can also aid in identifying and fixing potential safety hazards
• Having the aptitude to work alone without impeding the productivity of the team
