Job Summary of Certified Substitute Teacher:

Provide classroom instruction and support by implementing lesson plans in the absence of the regular teacher. Ensure a productive learning environment while following established classroom routines and school policies. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Certified Substitute Teacher:

• Execute and adhere to lesson plans in accordance with the instructions provided by the missing teacher.
• Promote a safe and structured classroom environment.
• Guide students in understanding the content of their studies and completing their assignments.
• Report any student-related accidents, health concerns, or significant misconduct cases to the appropriate school officials.
• Fulfill other responsibilities as directed by school administrators.

Qualifications and Experience of Certified Substitute Teacher:

• Non-certified candidates need to meet the criteria of holding 30 college credits and obtaining NJ Substitute Certification.
• A current New Jersey certification for Continuing Education (CE), Certified Educational Administration and Supervision (CEAS), or Standard Teacher Certification is essential.
• Adeptness in English communication, encompassing speaking fluency, reading comprehension, and writing proficiency.

Salary:
