Job Summary of Classroom Supervisor:

Support educational institutions by delivering quality instruction during teacher absences, ensuring the smooth continuation of learning through the implementation of lesson plans, management of classroom behavior, and active student involvement in a controlled educational setting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Classroom Supervisor:

• Implement educational strategies and provide instruction per the school’s requirements.
• Establish a safe and orderly setting within the classroom.
• Assist students in gaining an understanding of the material and fulfilling their assignments.
• Inform school leadership about student advancements, attendance data, and disciplinary issues for proper oversight.
• Undertake further duties as required by school administrators.

Qualifications and Experience of Classroom Supervisor:

• A Substitute Certification for New Jersey is necessary, along with a minimum of 30 college credits, for non-certified individuals applying for the position.
• Certified individuals need to have a current NJ CE, CEAS, or Standard Teacher Certification.
• A high level of skill in utilizing English through speech, reading, and writing.
