CNC Programmer

Join our dynamic team as a CNC Programmer, where you will play a pivotal role in programming CNC machines and assisting with the introduction of new products. You will lead initiatives to enhance the manufacturing process through standardization and waste reduction, contribute to cycle time quoting, product planning, and project timeline creation. Additionally, you will be integral in the installation and set-up of new equipment and ensuring the maintenance and repair of machinery.

Pay Rate- $80-100k

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines and assist with the prove-out of new products.
• Lead continuous improvement activities for standardization and waste reduction in the manufacturing process.
• Assist with cycle time quoting, product planning, and creating project timelines.
• Assist with the installation and set-up of new equipment.
• Monitor machine maintenance and collaborate with vendors for repairs.
• Maintain digital data traceability.
• Design and develop fixtures.
• Perform machine set-up and fulfill all quality requirements.
• Continue to develop lean processes and provide training support.
• Troubleshoot CNC machines.
• Perform other tasks and duties as required.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM programming.
• Experience in fixture design and development.
• Basic understanding of blueprints and GD&T.
• Ability to troubleshoot CNC machines.
• Strong communication skills both orally and in writing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5-Axis milling programming and machining background
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows.
• Working knowledge of Mastercam software.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, with 5-10 years of related experience and training.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
