Job Description:

As a Cook Assistant at Five Guys, you will support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, assisting in cooking menu items, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your role ensures that the kitchen operates efficiently and that food is prepared to the company's high standards. Responsibilities:

• Monitor cooking times and food quality under the guidance of kitchen staff.

• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.

• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.

• Support other team members during peak hours to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

• Report maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen support preferred but not required; training is provided.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
