Crane System Assembler

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Crane System Assembler for our team. Your essential function in the role will be to assemble and build structural forms such as crane components, jib cranes, cranes, and other structures. You will also be required to perform electrical assembly and wiring of industrial machinery. Additionally, you will be responsible for wiring new cranes during fabrication, assembling 3-phase and Single-phase electric hoists, and configuring pneumatic hoists. You will further consolidate your expertise by assembling and wiring control boxes, working with PLC's, and troubleshooting. In addition, you will assemble and test electric and pneumatic chain hoists, electric wire rope hoists, and push/geared/motorized trolleys to the customer's exact specifications. You will also be tasked with the assembly and testing of crane system electrical components which include bridge control boxes, crane wiring, end truck motors, and assemblies. Finally, you will be working using various handheld pneumatic and electric power tools, comprising drills, drivers, riveters, impact wrenches, nut runners, saws, and grinders.

Hard Skills

• In order to excel in the construction industry, it's crucial to understand how to read and interpret blueprints
• Understanding PLC wiring diagrams and identifying the purpose of each component is also important in facilitating troubleshooting processes, especially when faced with complex or unusual faults
• The Basics of Variable Frequency Drives - VFD's
• Expertise in installing conduits
• Working with electrical power at 460/480V requires specialized skills and knowledge, and I have gained these abilities over years of experience in the field. I am proficient in safely managing high-voltage power and have a deep understanding of the potential hazards and risks associated with it

Job Type

There is a six-month contract-to-hire position being offered for interested individuals.
