Custodial Staff

Job Description:

Moving furniture will also be a part of your duties as Custodial Staff. You will be expected to follow safety procedures while ensuring that neither the furniture nor the walls are damaged during the process. You will also be responsible for cleaning all assigned areas, using the right solutions, equipment, and techniques while making sure that chemicals are labeled properly to avoid any risk or confusion.

• Capability to execute cleaning guidelines accurately
• Operating and maintaining various cleaning equipment and chemicals can be a complicated task that requires proper training and expertise
• Having experience in handling medical waste is an invaluable asset for healthcare facilities and institutions
• Always remember to use proper lifting techniques and equipment like straps or dollies when moving, especially if the furniture is heavy, bulky, or awkwardly shaped

Job Type

The employment arrangement is temporary and will only last for three months.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a hospital setting and will be a part of a 6 to 8-member team lead by a Lead EVS. The Director of Plant Operations supervises facility management. The facility encompasses 36 rooms and spans 60,000 sq ft, including a cafeteria, 3 small gyms, and a common area.
