Job Title: Customer Service Associate (Sales Advisor)

Reports to: Department Manager

Job Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Role Overview

As a Customer Service Associate, your role is to create an outstanding shopping experience for every customer who walks into the store. You bring energy, positivity, and your personal style to the floor, helping each customer feel welcome and confident. You are a key contributor to store performance and the heartbeat of our customer-first approach.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and attention.

• Support customers with styling advice and product knowledge.

• Maintain a friendly, helpful attitude that reflects H&M’s values.

Sales & Store Execution

• Process purchases, returns, and exchanges efficiently at the cash register.

• Refill and tidy merchandise on the sales floor and fitting rooms.

• Help maintain clean and organized store spaces and visuals.

Team Collaboration

• Contribute to a positive team culture with great communication and cooperation.

• Participate in daily team meetings and trainings.

• Offer and ask for help where needed—it's a team effort!

Operations & Safety

• Follow store routines, including deliveries, markdowns, and price changes.

• Assist in preventing loss and promoting safety for all team members and customers.

• Uphold H&M's policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

Who You Are:

• Positive, reliable, and passionate about great service.

• A fast learner who’s adaptable and ready to work in a fast-paced retail setting.

• Excited about fashion and helping people express their individuality.

• Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs, standing for long periods, and performing routine physical tasks.

• Open to working a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• No prior experience required—we'll teach you everything you need to know!
