Job Summary of Customer Support Associate:

U-Haul is currently seeking individuals who are friendly and driven for the role of Customer Support Associate. In this position, you will be part of a supportive team, representing U-Haul by providing exceptional service to customers, ensuring they receive necessary assistance for their trips through the inspection and upkeep of equipment. Additionally, you will be involved in helping customers by utilizing modern technology to manage equipment dispatch and returns. This role includes opportunities for hands-on learning. The company's approach is focused on quick hiring and payment, enabling individuals to start and receive compensation promptly. By scheduling two practical working interviews, you can earn payment for each session.

Responsibilities of Customer Support Associate:

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment)
• Other duties as assigned
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University. Customer Service Representative

Qualifications of Customer Support Associate:

• Having a legitimate driver's license and being capable of upholding a favorable driving history
• Completion of high school or its equivalent is required for this position
