Jimmy John's Part Time Delivery Drivers are the heartbeat of our "Freaky Fast" delivery service. The goal is simple - get our delicious sandwiches into customers' hands as quickly and safely as possible. Delivery Drivers learn the most efficient routes, double-check orders for accuracy, and hustle with a smile while always obeying traffic laws and safety guidelines. Delivery driving with Jimmy John's means cash in your pocket every day, thanks to tips and Driver Maintenance Reimbursement (DMR).

Drivers are responsible for assisting with in-store tasks when they are not making deliveries and are paid accordingly for their contributions. These tasks include preparing sandwiches, keeping the restaurant tidy, and providing outstanding service to customers.

Having served as a leading Jimmy John's franchisee for more than 15 years, we oversee 12 locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Our team is comprised of dedicated individuals who started in entry-level positions, such as part-time drivers, and have advanced to full-time roles and leadership positions. Job mandates for a Delivery Associate role:

• Process orders received via phone and complete delivery paperwork with efficiency and friendliness
• Deliver sandwiches quickly and safely using a personal vehicle
• Manage payment receipts and match cash figures with supervisors at the close of the shift
• Contribute to in-shop activities by creating sandwiches and preserving a sanitary workspace
• Greet individuals entering the establishment, manage cash register functions, and address any menu inquiries
• Ensure orders are processed and executed with 100% accuracy
• Present a professional and agreeable attitude while observing the prescribed standards for attire
• Maintain a hygienic environment in the restaurant by attending to cleanliness in restrooms, flooring, and stations

Delivery Associate Qualifications:

• At a minimum of 18 years old
• It is compulsory to carry both a valid driver's license and valid proof of insurance
• A pristine driving record along with two years of driving proficiency
• Having a trustworthy means of transport is essential
• Aptitude for thriving in a team-based, quick-paced work atmosphere
• Experienced in delivering exceptional service to clients
• Exhibiting a dedication to meeting Jimmy John's standards and successfully completing the sandwich training examinations

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $7.25 - $8.25/hr
• The typical wage per hour, factoring in tips and DMR, usually falls within the $18 to $25 range
