Delivery Drivers at Jimmy John's serve as the cornerstone of the company's Freaky Fast delivery service, embodying the commitment to prompt and reliable delivery to customers. The fundamental aim is uncomplicated: ensuring the timely and safe handover of the scrumptious sandwiches to patrons. These drivers are versed in determining optimal travel routes, confirming order accuracy, and maintaining a brisk pace with a cheerful attitude, all while adhering to traffic regulations and safety guidelines. Working as a delivery driver for Jimmy John's means receiving daily remuneration, incorporating tips and benefits from the Driver Maintenance Reimbursement (DMR) initiative.

In between deliveries, drivers are expected to help out with in-store operations and are compensated accordingly for their work. This encompasses tasks such as preparing sandwiches, ensuring the restaurant is clean, and offering excellent service to customers.

Accountabilities that come with being a Delivery Team Member:

• Accept orders over the phone and efficiently process delivery paperwork with a polite manner
• Deliver sandwiches quickly and safely using a personal vehicle
• Receive payments and balance cash with supervisors before the end of the work period
• Assist with in-house operations through sandwich preparation and cleanliness upkeep
• Offer salutations to customers, handle cash register duties, and respond to menu-related queries
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail when preparing and executing orders
• Portray an optimistic and refined attitude while following the established rules on attire
• Uphold cleanliness standards in the restaurant by regularly cleaning restrooms, flooring, and stations

Criteria that individuals must meet to be considered eligible for a Delivery Team Member position:

• A minimum age of 18 years
• A current driver's license and evidence of insurance must be provided
• A pristine driving record along with two years of driving proficiency
• Ensuring access to a reliable vehicle is crucial
• Adaptability to excel in a team-centric, high-tempo work environment
• Proficiency in delivering high-quality customer support
• Showing a willingness to follow the criteria set by Jimmy John's and complete the sandwich training examinations.

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $7.25 - $8.25/hr
• The average earnings range from $18 to $25 per hour, which includes hourly wages, tips, and DMR
