We are looking for a highly skilled and reliable Diesel Technician to join our service and repair team. The Diesel Technician is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles, trucks, and equipment. A successful Diesel Technician ensures engines and mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for individuals with strong technical knowledge who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

The duties of a Diesel Technician include inspecting, servicing, and repairing diesel engines, brake systems, transmissions, electrical components, and hydraulics. A Diesel Technician will also use advanced diagnostic equipment to identify performance issues and complete preventive maintenance. As a Diesel Technician, you may work on commercial trucks, buses, construction vehicles, and other heavy-duty equipment. In addition to being a Diesel Technician, you may be referred to as a diesel mechanic, fleet technician, or heavy equipment technician depending on the scope of work.

A Diesel Technician must follow company safety protocols, keep accurate repair records, and communicate repair needs clearly to supervisors and team members. The Diesel Technician should be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Diesel Technician, diesel mechanic, fleet technician, or heavy equipment technician preferred.

Strong understanding of diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Ability to operate diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and hand tools effectively.

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification as a Diesel Technician highly desirable.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Physical ability to lift, move, and work with heavy components and equipment.

Commitment to safety procedures and high standards of quality service.

Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
