Job Summary

• Responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitized area for staff and guests

• Wash and sanitize all plate ware, drink ware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment

• Keep the dish room clean and organized

Job Responsibilities

• Operate an industrial dishwasher

• Wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, clean and maintain equipment

• Sanitize utensils and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant

• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen work areas

• Clean food prep areas and kitchen facilities

• Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures

• Store clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment properly

• Empty and clean trash receptacles

• Assist prep cooks and kitchen staff during peak hours, including basic prep work

• Load or unload delivery trucks

• Perform opening, closing, and side work

• Clean up spills and broken glassware immediately

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette

• Must have a valid Food Handler's Card where applicable

• Effective communication with team members

• Learn and properly use all cleaning chemicals in the building

• Ability to work in warm to very warm kitchen environments

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment
