Job Title: District General Manager

Overview

The District General Manager is responsible for overseeing gym operations to ensure an exceptional member experience and financial success. This leader manages a team across multiple locations with a focus on sales performance, operations excellence, and employee development—all while maintaining Crunch’s "No Judgments" philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead strong teams by recruiting, interviewing, and hiring managers and team members

• Assign responsibilities and set weekly schedules for management staff

• Oversee staff training standards, providing coaching to drive team performance

• Develop team members through consistent feedback and policy training

• Conduct team meetings and establish performance goals

• Drive business growth through operational efficiency and targeted sales objectives

• Address and resolve member inquiries and concerns in a timely manner

• Monitor and meet or exceed all key performance indicator (KPI) targets

• Ensure facilities are clean, organized, and align with Crunch brand standards

• Manage payroll and ensure appropriate staffing levels

• Maintain deep knowledge of all gym offerings and equipment

• Enforce and monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and brand standards

• Oversee gym inventory and manage retail sales

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a fitness or health club environment

• Proven experience supervising teams and managing operations

• Strong understanding of business functions including finance, administration, and labor management

• CPR/AED certification required

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to drive growth using data and KPI metrics

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools

Reporting Structure

• Reports to: Regional Operations Director and President

• Works collaboratively with club-level management teams
