District Manager – Sally Beauty

As a District Manager at Sally Beauty, you will lead a network of retail stores within a designated territory to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive top-line sales performance, and ensure operational excellence. You will serve as a strategic link between corporate initiatives and in-store execution, managing talent, safety, visual merchandising, and loss prevention while championing the Sally Beauty brand.

You will work closely with Store Managers to coach and develop high-performing teams, recruit top talent, and implement strategies that enhance customer engagement, product knowledge, and business growth. With a strong focus on people, performance, and process, this role demands analytical thinking, business acumen, and a passion for developing others.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support store teams to achieve sales goals, KPIs, and customer satisfaction metrics.

• Drive consistent brand execution in visual merchandising, marketing, and operational standards.

• Recruit, train, coach, and retain high-caliber talent; identify future leaders within your district.

• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and operational procedures, including digital and omni-channel initiatives.

• Monitor and analyze financial reports, competitive landscape, and market trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategy.

• Partner with real estate, HR, and corporate business partners to support store relocations, closings, or openings.

• Travel regularly within the district and to national meetings, beauty shows, and training events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-unit retail management or related leadership experience.

• Background in specialty or trade retail preferred.

• Strong skills in people leadership, recruiting, inventory control, and merchandising.

• Business-minded with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends.

• Strong communication and decision-making skills.

• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays and weekends as needed.
