Delivery Drivers learn the most efficient routes, double-check orders for accuracy, and hustle with a smile while always obeying traffic laws and safety guidelines. Delivery driving with Jimmy John's means cash in your pocket every day, thanks to tips and Driver Maintenance Reimbursement (DMR).

Drivers are expected to help with in-shop operations when they are not on delivery duty and are compensated accordingly. This entails responsibilities like sandwich preparation, maintaining restaurant cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service.

What is expected from individuals fulfilling the role of a Food Service Driver?

• Receive incoming calls for orders and efficiently complete delivery receipts with a courteous demeanor
• Deliver sandwiches quickly and safely using a personal vehicle
• Finalize payments and ensure cash reconciliation with the management team at the end of the shift
• Help keep the shop running smoothly by making sandwiches and upholding cleanliness
• Extend greetings to customers, process payments using the cash register, and offer assistance with menu queries
• Guarantee accurate and precise completion of orders through meticulous organization
• Embrace a constructive and elegant demeanor while adhering to the specified guidelines for dress code
• Regularly clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, and stations to uphold cleanliness standards in the restaurant

The qualifications and credentials needed to apply for a Food Service Driver job:

• A minimum age of 18 years
• The necessary documents include a valid driver's license and confirmation of insurance coverage
• Not a single blemish on the driving record and a solid two years of driving practice
• Owning a reliable vehicle is a necessity
• Proficient at working effectively in a fast-paced, team-centered environment
• Skilled in providing top-notch customer service experiences
• Showing a commitment to upholding Jimmy John's expectations and excelling in the sandwich training evaluations

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $7.25 - $8.25/hr
• The average earnings range from $18 to $25 per hour, which includes hourly wages, tips, and DMR
