Job Summary of Education Assistant Substitute:

Work alongside teachers to assist students with instructional undertakings, classroom discipline, and personalized support. Foster the academic and personal development of students, specifically those with unique educational needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Education Assistant Substitute:

• Offer personalized educational assistance to one student at a time or in smaller clusters.
• Assist in creating a conducive learning environment by effectively managing the classroom dynamics.
• Get ready and aid with administrative duties.
• Monitor students in diverse educational spaces, like cafeteria settings, playgrounds, and off-site educational visits.
• Offer assistance to students with specific requirements as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) or 504 Plans.
• Support students in handling their academic, personal, and emotional challenges.
• Execute any extra tasks as directed by the classroom instructor or educational institution.

Qualifications and Experience of Education Assistant Substitute:

• As far as educational qualifications go, a high school diploma or its equivalent, a GED, is typically required.
• English language command demonstrated through speaking, reading, and writing competencies.
