Job Summary of Entry Level Substitute Teacher:

Help school systems in maintaining educational continuity by delivering effective instruction in the absence of regular teachers, promoting a consistent learning experience through the implementation of lesson plans, classroom management, and engaging student participation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Entry Level Substitute Teacher:

• Execute teaching plans and provide instruction as directed by the school.
• Ensure a well-regulated and secure classroom environment.
• Assist students in gaining an understanding of the material and fulfilling their assignments.
• Provide school administrators with updates on student progress, attendance rates, and behavioral issues as necessary.
• Carry out supplementary responsibilities as directed by school administrators.

Qualifications and Experience of Entry Level Substitute Teacher:

• A Substitute Certification for New Jersey is necessary, along with a minimum of 30 college credits, for non-certified individuals applying for the position.
• A Valid NJ CE, CEAS, or Standard Teacher Certification is a prerequisite for certified applicants.
• English proficiency encompassing fluent speaking, adept reading, and proficient writing.
