Responsibilities of Facilities Technician:

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facilities Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Qualifications of Facilities Technician:

• Proficiency in electrical, air conditioning, heating, ventilation, plumbing, or landscaping is preferred
• Valid driverus license
• D.O.T certification, which may be covered by U-Haul sponsorship, is essential for individuals operating commercial vehicles
