About the Role

As a Fashion Visual Manager, you play a significant role in shaping a stimulating, sophisticated, and uniform customer experience through the enforcement of visual standards and commercial proficiency. Collaborating with the store team, you will leverage your awareness of trends to ensure the strategic execution of visual and commercial guidelines that drive sales in your store. Leading, coaching, and developing the Visual Merchandiser team will be part of your responsibilities to ensure a sustainable talent pipeline within your store.

Customer Sales & Profit concerns the financial gains and earnings linked to customer transactions

  • Enhance the holistic customer experience in your store by consistently reviewing and aligning visual and commercial curation with the specified guidelines
  • Maintaining a good reputation for both yourself and the H&M Brand in customer interactions is important
  • Engage with the Store Manager, Area Visual Manager, and Store teams to set, execute, and track store visual and commercial milestones
  • Supervise your VM team in organizing, planning, and ranking work according to the store activation strategy, and modify as necessary to align with business needs through collaboration with the Store Management team and Area Visual Manager
  • Consult and collaborate with the Store Management team and Area Visual Manager to launch and wrap up the most recent global campaigns and sales promotions as per H&M Brand Standards within the designated timeline
  • Assist in preserving the condition of garments, monitoring stock quantities, and advising on the allocation of stock to Store Management and Area teams
  • Execute a follow-up on sales reports (KPIs) to assess performance, pinpoint, and arrange visual and business possibilities alongside the Store Management team
  • It is crucial that your VM team develops effective and efficient strategies to enhance customer satisfaction to achieve sales targets, store objectives, budget constraints, and follow-up actions in conjunction with the Store Management team
  • Facilitate adherence to operational protocols, legal requirements, communication standards, and best practices for OMNI services by providing guidance and support to the Store Management team

Awareness of current fashion trends enables individuals to express themselves creatively through their clothing choices

  • Keep yourself informed about the fashion world by staying updated on trends, styles, brands, and influential figures.
  • Foster the professional development of your visual merchandising team by emphasizing the importance of dedicating time to staying abreast of fashion trends and theories. Utilizing mood boards for styling techniques and product presentation can help meet customer expectations and improve the overall shopping experience

Team & Development

  • Empower and educate your store workforce to be updated on the changing seasons, latest fashion trends, relevant visual and business information, in-store communications, and perception of pricing
  • Facilitate the enhancement of visual and commercial skills for the VM and Store teams to guarantee a high standard of product display and commercial presentation in accordance with guidelines
  • Support & develop daily routines and best practices for your Store team to always ensure a consistent level of visual & commercial standard while maintaining customer service engagement
  • In control of the recruitment process, onboarding, performance evaluation, skill development, and growth opportunities for talents and new staff in conjunction with the Store Manager and Area Team
  • Develop a clear roadmap for talent progression within your store to facilitate career advancement and support long-term business objectives
  • Set up, provide, and execute visual and commercial training for yourself and your colleagues
  • Confirms that Store teams have successfully undergone the Visual Competences & Commercial 4 All trainings as part of the Regional & Sales Market learning and development goals
  • Aid the Sales Market and Area departments by sourcing skilled professionals to support the needs of store project expansions

Bringing visual and commercial plans to life

  • Oversight of the visual and commercial direction in the store entails the coordination of displays, merchandising setups, and styling choices to synchronize with the commercial calendar, inventory distribution plan, store activations, and trend projections guided by visual and commercial standards
  • Support and oversee the implementation of recommended practices in sample selection by your visual merchandising team, emphasizing the significance of accurately managing stockroom quantities of clothing, accessories, and shoes to ensure the coherent representation of trends and narratives prompted by the visual and commercial directives
  • It is crucial for your VM team to secure window setups and styling executions according to visual and commercial standards to shape an innovative and profitable customer experience
  • Achieving a steady customer flow can be facilitated by keeping the commercial layout well-organized and fixtures strategically placed to showcase trending products and create a seamless narrative for customers
  • The task of ensuring a strong equilibrium and consistent upkeep of price signs in windows and various sections of the store must be fulfilled by the VM and Store teams, keeping in mind the guidelines set forth by the Global strategy and Sales Market prerequisites
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Management department to ensure that all lighting systems are in good working condition, designed to showcase our products and window displays in the store effectively
  • Safeguard the integrity of display forms and interior fixtures by incorporating sustainability measures
  • Work alongside the Area Visual Manager to maintain your store navigation, ensuring it is updated according to the most recent guidelines and store layout
  • Check to see if your store has the necessary inventory for sales, promotions, and other activities in line with local procedures
  • Follow the security guidelines of the location by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment on the sales floor and in the back of the house

The expected base salary falls between $21.87 and $30.36 per hour
