Financial Analyst

Job Title: Finance Analyst (FP&A)

Overview:
This position will support the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in a variety of financial functions, including budgeting and forecasting, month-end closing, variance analysis, and cash flow modeling. The role also involves ad hoc financial modeling and support across multiple divisions and brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for multiple divisions and brands.

• Develop and maintain balance sheet and cash flow forecasting models; review and refine them monthly.

• Participate in the month-end close process, including expense variance analysis and gross margin reconciliation.

• Collaborate with staff accountants to ensure accurate accruals during the closing process.

• Build models to enhance expense forecasting accuracy and efficiency.

• Update monthly sales and allowance reports.

• Maintain and manage the budget database.

• Track monthly expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Update and manage bonus compensation models.

• Calculate quarterly sales commissions.

• Provide variance analysis and reporting support to division heads.

• Support the CFO and Corporate Controller with special projects.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Strong problem-solving and follow-tpough capabilities.

• No direct supervisory responsibilities, but may provide direction to others on a one-on-one basis.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in financial planning and accounting.

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas).

• Experience with cash flow modeling required.

• Familiarity with Lawson ERP is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $85,000 – $95,000 (based on experience, education, and qualifications).
