Position Overview
As a Financial Center Manager Associate (FCMA), you will participate in a comprehensive, customized onboarding and training program that prepares you to lead one of our financial centers. The program includes rotations across Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred Banking, and Sales & Operations Management.
Upon successful completion, you will be placed as a Financial Center Manager, responsible for driving growth, developing your team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Successfully complete the FCMA onboarding program and roadmap, including Consultative Selling Skills Certification.
Develop proficiency in deepening consumer and small business customer relationships by delivering memorable experiences.
Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of Fifth Third’s products, services, processes, and internal resources.
Master the consultative sales process to proactively identify customer financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Learn to develop a holistic book-of-business strategy to ensure all customers have a Financial Needs Assessment and are matched to the right banker for ongoing support.
Cultivate leadership skills to source, develop, coach, and lead a high-performing team that embodies our Core Values.
Promote a One Bank culture through proactive collaboration with business partners.
Participate in community outreach and activities that strengthen our local presence.
Model ethical behavior by following the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and all related policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Assist in providing employees with timely, candid, and constructive feedback.
Support employee development by offering challenging opportunities and recognizing achievements.
Help create an environment where employees can reach their full potential.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Bachelor’s degree OR two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in both verbal and written communication.
Capable of analyzing credit and financial information.
Demonstrated ability to execute and coach effective sales activities.
Strong business acumen and sound decision-making skills.

Working Conditions
Standard office environment.
Extended periods viewing computer screens.
Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and training.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position reflects the broad pay scale for roles within this grade across the U.S. Individual salaries will vary based on experience, skills, education, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for an incentive compensation plan tied to company, line-of-business, and/or individual performance.
