Position Overview

As a Float Customer Service Representative/Teller, you will deliver excellent customer service at multiple financial center locations as needed. You will engage customers with genuine care, listen to their needs, and seamlessly connect them to appropriate banking partners for consultative conversations.

This role requires strong teamwork, operational accuracy, cash-handling expertise, and the ability to adapt quickly in different financial centers while maintaining high ethical standards and risk awareness.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Deepen customer relationships by listening to needs, asking thoughtful questions, and guiding them to appropriate financial solutions.

• Provide responsive and timely follow-up to customer inquiries and issues.

• Maintain open and clear lines of communication with customers.

• Protect customer confidentiality and maintain trust at all times.

• Adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, modeling ethical behavior consistently.

Operations

• Perform daily office responsibilities to support efficient operations of the financial center in collaboration with the platform team.

• Maintain an accurate cash balancing record, promptly identify and correct discrepancies, and seek help as needed.

• Stay current with bank policies and financial center procedures, sharing feedback to ensure consistency across locations.

• Address consumer and business customer problems professionally, escalating complex issues to the Lead CSR or other leadership as necessary.

• Exercise sound judgment in all decision-making within established guidelines and procedures.

Referrals

• Identify customer needs during interactions and outreach, and refer them to Bankers or business partners for a consultative conversation.

• Maintain working knowledge of Retail banking products and services.

• Utilize appropriate tools to track referrals to personal bankers and business partners.

Other Duties

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Travel and work collaboratively in different financial centers as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Prior experience handling cash transactions.

• Comfort and confidence interacting with the public, maintaining professional appearance per dress code guidelines.

• In-depth knowledge of retail banking policies and procedures, or ability to learn quickly.

• Initiative, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to demonstrate the bank’s core values: work as one bank, take accountability, be respectful and inclusive, act with integrity.

• Flexibility in scheduling to meet business needs.

Working Conditions
