Jimmy John's Part Time Delivery Drivers are the heartbeat of our "Freaky Fast" delivery service. The goal is simple - get our delicious sandwiches into customers' hands as quickly and safely as possible. Delivery Drivers learn the most efficient routes, double-check orders for accuracy, and hustle with a smile while always obeying traffic laws and safety guidelines. Delivery driving with Jimmy John’s means cash in your pocket every day, thanks to tips and Driver Maintenance Reimbursement (DMR).

Drivers are required to pitch in with in-shop tasks when they are not on delivery duty and are fairly compensated for their assistance. These responsibilities include tasks such as sandwich preparation, maintaining the restaurant's cleanliness, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Expectations and duties for someone occupying the role of a Food Delivery Driver:

• Receive telephonic orders and efficiently complete delivery receipts with a courteous approach
• Deliver sandwiches quickly and safely using a personal vehicle
• Confirm received payments and align cash balances with leadership by the shift's conclusion
• Play a role in the shop's functionality by preparing sandwiches and ensuring a tidy setting
• Welcome clients, operate the register for transactions, and address menu-related questions
• Strive for perfection in handling and completing orders accurately
• Display a professional and upbeat outlook while meeting the expectations for proper dress
• Uphold cleanliness standards in the restaurant by regularly cleaning restrooms, flooring, and stations

The set standards and criteria for individuals interested in working as a Food Delivery Driver:

• At least 18 years of age or older
• It is a requirement to show a legitimate driver's license and valid insurance documentation
• Unmarked driving credentials with a mandatory two-year driving background
• A reliable automobile is indispensable
• Adaptability to excel in a team-centric, high-tempo work environment
• Capable of ensuring customer satisfaction through service excellence
• Being ready to abide by Jimmy John's standards and successfully pass the sandwich-making training evaluations

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $7.25 - $8.25/hr
• Inclusive of hourly rates, tips, and DMR, employees typically earn between $18 and $25 per hour on average
