Job Description:

As a Grill Cook at Five Guys, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items, primarily grilled foods, in accordance with company standards. You will ensure that all orders are cooked to perfection, presented well, and delivered in a timely manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and collaboration with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

• Grill burgers, hot dogs, and other menu items according to Five Guys' quality standards.

• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and consistency.

• Prepare ingredients, including slicing vegetables, portioning toppings, and seasoning proteins.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill, prep areas, and kitchen stations.

• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.

• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.

• Support other team members during peak hours to maintain smooth kitchen operations.

• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a grill cook or in food preparation preferred but not required training is provided.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality food.

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
