Job Summary of Guest Teacher:

Assist educational institutions by delivering effective instruction during teacher absences, ensuring the flow of learning is maintained through adherence to lesson plans, management of classroom order, and student engagement within a structured educational setting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Guest Teacher:

• Follow teaching schedules and deliver instruction in line with school directives.
• Establish and uphold a safe and structured classroom atmosphere.
• Help students grasp the material and finish their academic tasks.
• Communicate with school administrators regarding students’ progress, attendance trends, and disciplinary concerns for monitoring purposes.
• Execute supplementary duties as directed by school administrators.

Qualifications and Experience of Guest Teacher:

• Having a Substitute Certification for New Jersey is compulsory, alongside having at least 30 college credits, for candidates who are not certified teachers.
• For applicants who are certified, possession of a current NJ CE, CEAS, or Standard Teacher Certification is essential.
• Mastery of English including speaking, reading, and writing abilities.

Salary:

Within the range of $90 to $140 per day, payment is adjusted according to the individual’s experience and the school district involved.
