Position Overview

The Hospitality Room Cleaner is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and assigned hotel areas are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment for all guests while supporting the overall success of hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional approach to supporting the guest experience.

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and refreshing supplies.

• Restock room amenities and replace linens and towels as required.

• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a neat, organized, and stocked condition.

• Promptly report maintenance issues, damages, or lost-and-found items to the front desk or manager on duty.

• Comply with all safety, sanitation, and security policies.

• Respond courteously and efficiently to guest requests for service or accommodation.

Other Duties

• Assist with cleaning public areas such as hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and guest laundry rooms.

• Support the team with laundry operations (washing, drying, folding) as needed.

• Help ensure the hotel maintains an overall high standard of cleanliness.

• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

• Physical ability to lift, push, and perform housekeeping tasks.

• Reliable, professional, and guest-service oriented.

Compensation

Compensation is based on location, experience, and length of service. The company complies with all applicable federal, state, and local wage requirements.

• California: $16.50 – $24.00

• Colorado: $16.00 – $19.00

• Illinois: $16.00 – $19.00

• Minnesota: $16.00 – $19.00

• New Jersey: $15.00 – $22.32

• Washington: $16.66 – $21.10

• Whitestone, NY: $18.27 – $19.62
