Housekeeper

Position Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and hotel areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards. This role requires a strong commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience by promoting cleanliness, safety, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible guest and associate experience.

• Clean assigned guest rooms in compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.

• Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards.

• Stock carts and cart rooms as directed by management.

• Report maintenance issues promptly to the front desk and/or manager on duty.

• Turn in any remaining guest property found in check-out rooms.

• Assist guests with reasonable requests and accommodations whenever possible.

• Comply with all safety and security policies and procedures.

• Complete all required and annual Extended Stay University training.

Other Duties

• Assist with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned (e.g., associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas).

• Help maintain overall hotel cleanliness.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Compensation

Pay ranges by state:

• California: $16.50 – $24.00

• Colorado: $16.00 – $19.00

• Illinois: $16.00 – $19.00

• Minnesota: $16.00 – $19.00

• New Jersey: $15.00 – $22.32

• Washington: $16.66 – $21.10

• Whitestone, NY: $18.27 – $19.62
