HVAC Repair Technician

Job Summary of HVAC Repair Technician:

The primary job duties include servicing and fixing HVAC-R systems in a selection of specialized equipment found in a specific group of 7-Eleven stores. Work orders are created by store staff through the 7Help system and then allocated to the suitable technician for resolution. The Area Facilities Manager is the direct supervisor for this role.

Responsibilities of HVAC Repair Technician:

• Addresses work orders pertaining to a broad spectrum of in-store equipment, including HVAC systems and refrigeration units, and undertakes minor repair tasks for items like cold beverage equipment (e.g., tea machines, fountain machines, FBD, FCB, creamer machines), and ice makers located in backrooms or by the fountain area
• Addresses maintenance work orders encompassing plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep matters
• Undertakes preventive maintenance responsibilities for a range of equipment like telephone and data lines, refrigeration units, lighting fixtures, signage, and pumps to uphold their operational efficiency and extend their lifespan
• Organizes and sets the order of daily duties and assignments
• Repairs to equipment, which may include hoses, nozzles, fuel filters, decals, HVAC filters, water filters, and similar items, will be carried out when required
• Responsible for managing the acquisition and inventory control of truck components
• Ensures that all essential reports and paperwork are finished on a daily basis to track the expenditure of materials and labor
• Examines machinery to decide on the necessity of servicing or other interventions
• Proficiency in the installation, diagnosis, servicing, and care of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units
• Skill in utilizing a variety of hand and power equipment as required by the job
• The importance of knowing how to recover refrigerant and dispose of it safely cannot be overstated
• Proficiency in executing preventive maintenance following established protocols
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and their operation using computerized monitoring tools
• The skillset required to operate computer-based monitoring/control devices for HVAC systems involves adept analytical and critical thinking abilities to effectively navigate and resolve system issues
• Coordinate job duties and monitor the performance of direct service workers in the HVAC industry. Interpret and implement oral and written guidelines effectively. Cultivate and manage harmonious working partnerships within the team
• Engage in mentoring junior technicians during training sessions when necessary. Demonstrate self-sufficiency and the capability to perform tasks with limited supervision. Possess the know-how to safely and accurately braze refrigerant lines and components. Carry out additional tasks and projects as delegated by management

Qualification of HVAC Repair Technician:

• High School/GED Preferred YEARS OF RELEVANT
• 1years YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
• NA CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: EPA 608 (Type I, II, or Universal) Certification SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND
• Show Leadership (Practice Leadership skills Daily)
• Peer to Peer Tech support
• Effective communication
• Projects/Stretch assignments
• Facility location ownership
• Ability to lead the team

There is a possibility that the actual payment made by the Company may deviate from the initially stated salary range, whether higher or lower. This designated salary bracket is specifically intended for positions based in this state and may undergo alterations at a later date. Any form of compensation or benefits is not recognized as wages until it has been earned, vested, and definitively determined in compliance with the established company policies and guidelines. The determination and dispensation of bonuses, commissions, long-term incentives, benefits, or any other type of compensation and benefits designated for a particular employee is entirely at the discretion of the Company until they are officially disbursed, and the Company retains the right to make adjustments as necessary within legal frameworks.
