HVAC Specialist

Job Description:

A well-respected commercial real estate company in Waltham is seeking a licensed HVAC Specialist to fill an open position. This role offers competitive income and benefits for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the operations and productivity of building systems, using skills in plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling to evaluate their functioning.
• Conduct maintenance on systems like chillers, air handlers, pumps, and valves.
• Schedule preventative maintenance activities based on manufacturer recommendations and equipment usage patterns.
• Run energy management programs to decrease operating costs and optimize system efficiency.
• Be responsible for overseeing the lighting and control systems in the building.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in using Microsoft Office and Outlook software applications.
• Superior customer service and communication skills, both in written and verbal formats.
• Those who have previously worked in a capacity that requires on-call availability are better equipped to handle out-of-the-blue emergency instances.
