Independent Delivery Driver Job Duties:

Jimmy John's Independent Delivery Drivers are the heartbeat of our Freaky Fast delivery service. The goal is simple to get our delicious sandwiches into customers' hands as quickly and safely as possible. Delivery Drivers learn the most efficient routes, double-check orders for accuracy, and hustle with a smile while always obeying traffic laws and safety guidelines. Delivery driving with Jimmy John’s means cash in your pocket every day, thanks to tips and Driver Maintenance Reimbursement (DMR).

In between deliveries, drivers are expected to help out with in-store operations and are compensated accordingly for their work. This encompasses tasks such as preparing sandwiches, ensuring the restaurant is clean, and offering excellent service to customers.

For more than 15 years, we have been a prominent franchisee of Jimmy John's, overseeing a total of 12 establishments in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Our workforce is composed of dedicated individuals who initially started as part-time drivers and have progressed into full-time roles and leadership positions. Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $7.25 - $8.25/hr
• The average wage falls within the range of $18 to $25 per hour, considering hourly pay, tips, and DMR

Accountabilities that come with being an Independent Delivery Driver:

• Handle incoming calls for orders and swiftly finalize delivery tickets while maintaining politeness
• Deliver sandwiches quickly and safely using a personal vehicle
• Handle cash transactions and reconcile monetary sums with supervisors at the shift’s end
• Support store operations by crafting sandwiches and upholding cleanliness standards
• Engage with guests, manage the cash register, and offer guidance on menu options
• Assure the accuracy of order processing and execution at all times
• Portray an optimistic and refined attitude while following the established rules on attire
• Ensure that restrooms, floors, and workstations are consistently clean throughout the restaurant

Independent Delivery Driver Criteria:

• A minimum age requirement of 18 years old
• You must present a valid driver's license and verifiable proof of insurance
• A driving history devoid of incidents and at least two years of driving experience
• It is crucial to possess a reliable mode of transport
• Skill in performing efficiently within a team-oriented, fast-paced context
• Proficiency in delivering high-quality customer support
• The preparedness to adhere to Jimmy John's regulations and excel in the sandwich training tests
