Job Summary of Interim Faculty:

Provide classroom instruction and support by implementing lesson plans in the absence of the regular teacher. Ensure a productive learning environment while following established classroom routines and school policies. This role offers an opportunity to gain teaching experience and contribute to student development.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Interim Faculty:

• Carry out and follow the lesson plans as directed by the teacher who is not in attendance.
• Maintain a safe and disciplined classroom setting.
• Assist students in grasping the subject material and fulfilling their academic requirements.
• Notify school administrators promptly about any student injuries, illnesses, or grave disciplinary matters.
• Undertake supplementary duties as assigned by school authorities.

Qualifications and Experience of Interim Faculty:

• To be considered non-certified, individuals must possess a New Jersey Substitute Certification along with at least 30 college credits.
• Individuals must hold a legitimate certification from New Jersey for Continuing Education (CE), Certified Educational Administration and Supervision (CEAS), or Standard Teacher Certification.
• Fluency in English speaking, reading, and writing, reflecting advanced language skills.
