About the Role
The Investment Executive is responsible for driving sales of securities products, achieving fee income goals, and managing a team of licensed retail bankers. This role involves coaching, training, and mentoring bankers, while also managing a book of clients with more complex financial needs. The position requires developing client relationships, conducting joint and solo appointments, and delivering tailored financial solutions aligned with client goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals while ensuring clients’ best interests are served.

• Conduct individual and group coaching sessions for retail bankers on investment strategies and products.

• Manage and expand client relationships through regular meetings, follow-ups, and referrals.

• Provide guidance on sales planning, execution, and achieving financial targets.

• Prepare internal sales reports, maintain compliance, and mitigate risks.

• Conduct internal and external seminars to drive business development.

• Collaborate with bank partners to introduce lending, estate planning, and deposit solutions.

• Mentor and motivate licensed bankers, sharing tools, knowledge, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Prior brokerage industry experience.

• Active FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63 & 65), and state-required insurance licenses (7 & 63 in Michigan/Ohio).

• Variable Annuity license required.

• Strong sales, presentation, and coaching skills with a proven ability to simplify complex financial concepts.

• Ability to motivate and mentor teams, driving both individual and collective performance.

• Demonstrated success in building strong client relationships.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
