Janitorial Technician

Job Description:

We are currently in search of a dedicated Janitorial Technician that can join our team. Your main responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all patient rooms, offices, and common areas that are exposed to bodily fluids. By following strict cleaning procedures and going through a checklist post-cleaning, you will make sure that every area meets the required standards. You will also be expected to sweep, mop, and wax all floors accurately, ensuring that they are in good condition at all times.

Top Skills:

• Proficiency in following hygiene procedures
• Skillful utilization of cleaning tools and chemicals can significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cleaning operations
• Adequate training is necessary to ensure those responsible for handling medical waste do so in accordance with established guidelines and regulations
• If you cannot move the furniture alone, ask for assistance from professionals or friends to help you move it in a safe and secure manner

Job Type

The job is for a brief duration and will conclude after 90 days.

Work Environment

A hospital-based work setting awaits the chosen employee, who will join a team of 6 to 8 staff and operate under the guidance of a Lead EVS, with the Director of Plant Operations overseeing the facility's overall functioning. The facility boasts 36 rooms and spans 60,000 sq ft, including a cafeteria, 3 smaller gyms, and a common area.
