Job Description:
The Account Executive Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Account Executive by maximizing business opportunities and ensuring profitable relationships with customers. This individual will handle a variety of administrative, analytical, and customer-facing tasks that contribute to sales performance, customer satisfaction, and smooth business operations.

 Major Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and analyze weekly sales performance data.

• Identify and review business opportunities with buyers.

• Track advertising campaigns, review creative layouts, and confirm product deliveries.

• Provide ongoing customer service support to clients and internal teams.

• Assist executives in preparing reports and presentations.

• Participate in sales meetings and industry events, such as trade shows.

• Maintain effective communication with accounts, sales reps, and vendors.

• Confirm pricing details with vendors and customers.

• Organize and maintain purchase order folders and related correspondence.

• Enter and update orders in the AS400 system.

• Create and manage spec sheets and cost sheets on customer portals.

• Assist with product cancellations and reorders as needed.

• Keep customers informed about product details, order status, and updates.

• Confirm deliveries and reserve production space with vendors.

• Relay product specs and compliance requirements to vendors.

• Follow up with buyers regarding sample approvals.

• Review product samples for accuracy and flag discrepancies to product development.

• Monitor customer websites for updates and communicate relevant changes to vendors.

• Develop picture books for each customer account.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Buyers and DMMs.

• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and strong time management capabilities.

• Ability to work independently, anticipate problems, and provide solutions.

• Strong interpersonal skills; able to give and receive basic work direction.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

• 2–3 years of experience in customer service or a related field.

• Knowledge of retail math and fashion/footwear industry terminology is a plus.
