Position Summary:

As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations of the service bay, ensuring all services are performed efficiently, safely, and up to company standards. You'll be a key point of contact for technical troubleshooting, mentoring team members, and delivering excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician ready to take on a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform vehicle services including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and inspections

• Diagnose and communicate vehicle issues and service needs to customers and teammates

• Lead and support a team of technicians to ensure efficient workflow and quality standards

• Train and mentor new technicians on best practices and safety procedures

• Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs

• Uphold a clean, safe, and professional work environment

• Assist the store manager in daily operations, inventory control, and customer engagement

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in automotive services or a similar technical role

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Basic mechanical knowledge with a willingness to continue learning

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor environments

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

• Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation

• ASE certification is a plus but not required
