Achieve seamless delivery and receipt of all mail and packages through effective management and distribution strategies.
Making sure that correspondence is distributed accurately and promptly throughout the establishment.
As an assistant, it is your responsibility to receive, log, and arrange the incoming post and packages.
Channeling mail to the correct departments or persons accordingly.
When sending fragile or delicate items, extra cushioning should be used to minimize the risk of damage.
Operating mailroom equipment.
Keeping track of every mail transaction.
Resolving mail-related issues.
Managing the supply chain of office supplies through effective inventory management.
Maintaining a clean and organized mailroom is essential to prevent the loss or misplacement of important documents or packages.
Having a good understanding of the trends and best practices in one's industry is also crucial in staying competitive and relevant in today's job market.
