Maintenance Cleaner

Job Description:

We're currently searching for an Maintenance Cleaner to join our team. This role involves cleaning and servicing patient rooms, offices, and other common areas that are exposed to various bodily fluids. You will follow strict cleaning procedures and complete a checklist post-cleaning to ensure everything is in good condition. In addition, you will sweep, mop, and wax all floors, keep mops sanitized, and polish floors so that they are in pristine condition.

• Skill in implementing hygienic practices
• Proficiency in the correct use of cleaning equipment and chemicals can help reduce the need for repeated cleaning efforts and minimize wear and tear on floors and surfaces
• Proper segregation of medical waste is crucial to ensure proper disposal and minimize harm to the environment
• If you are using a vehicle to transport the furniture, secure it carefully with straps or bungee cords to prevent it from moving during transportation

Job Type

The job will only be available for an exact duration of three months.

Work Environment

The position offered involves working in a hospital environment, collaborating with six to eight team members under a Lead EVS's leadership, and answering to the Director of Plant Operations. The facility provides 36 rooms and occupies 60,000 sq ft, with a cafeteria, 3 smaller gyms, and a common area.
