Position Summary

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining and repairing production and facility equipment. They perform project work while adhering to safety standards. This role supports safety initiatives, lean principles, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete weekly maintenance schedules

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment

• Schedule and carry out necessary equipment repairs

• Perform fabrication, pipe fitting, welding, brazing, and soldering

• Operate material handling equipment including scissor lifts and man lifts

• Contribute to team and Six Sigma projects

• Accurately complete work orders and time sheets

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• One to two years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and pneumatic systems

• Ability to read and understand mechanical and pneumatic schematics

• Basic computer literacy

• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in welding, fabrication, and pipe fitting

• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing tools

• Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics

• Understanding of ladder logic, PLCs, and HMIs

• Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs, including SLC, MicroLogix, and ControlLogix

• Knowledge of Logix 500, Logix 5000, and RSLinx software

• Ability to install and configure AC and DC drives

• Understanding of NEC codes as applied to industrial settings
