Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician 2 supports daily facility and equipment operations by performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance. This role ensures safety, reliability, and efficiency of systems while meeting production and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems.

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency maintenance issues.

• Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts usage.

• Adhere to safety policies, compliance regulations, and standard operating procedures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve facility and equipment issues.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes and systems.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of maintenance experience in facilities, industrial, or manufacturing environments.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

• Proficiency with maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and computerized maintenance systems (CMMS).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Preferred

• Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or related field.

• OSHA safety training or equivalent.
