Job Description:

The capacity to operate on steel is a prerequisite for the prosperous applicant. The mandate includes managing Stick, flux core, and MIG welding methodologies, erecting varied forms of steel (including aluminium, hot roll, cold roll, among others), implementing out of position welding (overhead, vertical, & horizontal), and applying blueprints. Furthermore, it entails the accurate use of measuring instruments like tape measure, gauges, squares, and other related tools to ensure accuracy.

Hard Skills

• Connecting/Erecting
• Capable of understanding construction designs
• MIG welding, also known as gas metal arc welding, uses a continuous solid wire electrode and a shielding gas to protect the weld from contamination
• Out-of-position welding is the process of welding in positions other than the traditional flat or horizontal ones
• Accurate measurements are necessary in carpentry to ensure that the pieces of wood are cut to the right size and fit precisely

Job Type:

The job opening is for a fixed-term tenure of four months, after which the employee may be absorbed as a permanent staff of the organization.

Work Environment:

The place of employment is a compact workshop.
