Job Overview

As a Merchandise Leader, you are the right hand to the Merchandising Team Leader, ensuring the store consistently reflects American Eagle’s brand standards. You will lead the execution of floorsets, merchandising updates, and marketing initiatives while keeping the store “guest ready” through effective replenishment. This role is perfect for someone with a strong eye for detail, a passion for visual standards, and the ability to inspire teamwork and results.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Merchandising Team Leader to maintain AEO brand visual standards and create an outstanding guest experience.

• Lead and coach the floorset team, ensuring all productivity goals are met and all areas of the store are executed to standard.

• Manage daily merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment to maximize product presentation.

• Collaborate with leadership to identify merchandising opportunities and execute timely solutions.

• Train and support associates in merchandising best practices, adjustments, and replenishment routines.

• Champion a positive team culture by recognizing achievements and celebrating successes.

• Maintain store safety and stockroom organization, implementing shrink-reducing strategies in line with AEO policies.

Qualifications

• Passion for American Eagle and Aerie products.

• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.

• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Previous retail or visual merchandising experience preferred.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining brand standards.
