Merchandise Processor

Job Overview

The Merchandise Processor is responsible for preparing, organizing, and moving merchandise to support store and distribution operations. This role ensures that products are accurately received, processed, ticketed, and made ready for salesfloor placement or customer shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and process incoming merchandise in a timely and accurate manner.

• Ticket, fold, hang, or repackage items as required by company standards.

• Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled, organized, and prepared for salesfloor or distribution.

• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reporting discrepancies.

• Assist with replenishment and movement of stock between storage, stockroom, and salesfloor.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety policies.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and quality goals.

• Report damaged, defective, or missing merchandise promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in retail, warehouse, or merchandise processing preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30–50 lbs. as needed.

• Basic organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
